Use Weed Wacker line to unblock the drain tubes. Just wiggle it through from the top first and then the bottom, if you can locate the bottom end of the tube. That has worked for me on a couple of cars.
Get a new radio. There are aux-to-bluetooth adapters and such, but it looks like you have no input options at all. At that point, just get a new radio and you’ll like your car a lot better. Even the cheap radios have Bluetooth and USB now, so it won’t cost you a fortune.
I can’t get my 2016 Hyundai sonata Bluetooth to automatically be the default when I turn on my car. I always have to press Bluetooth. Otherwise regular radio will be on, is this just how it works? The radio is the default option, but your blue tooth should over-ride it if a call comes in. You should only need the BT option to listen to your recorded music. Even your satnav should over-ride the radio is set up properly.
A rattle is more likely a mechanical problem than an audio component issue, so don't go replacing anything yet. First check that the sub is attached tightly and that no fasteners have come loose. Check the surrounding panels, the rear window deck if there is one, etc. While you are at it inspect the cone, surround, and spider (if you can see it) for any separation or tears. If you set up some music that causes the rattle you should be able to touch all the possibly-rattling surfaces until you find the loose one. Getting it secured will depend on what it is and how it is attached.
Yes, I understand that you want to run away from the big bad policeman in your Hyundai Sonata, but that isn't likely to happen for a couple of reasons. First while he's driving a much faster car that you are oh, he's a better driver than you are, and he has a police radio that can have officers waiting ahead to blow out your tires with stick strips. Besides adding a rap of evading police, do the smart thing and pull over when the cop tells you to. The tickets going to be a lot less painful then if you don't.
Hyundai. Here is my explanation from a previous post of similar subject matter: “My career is based on taking consumer questions, problems and complaints for more than 40-years. They come from all walks of life in every imaginable category - including, of course, motor vehicles. No one can boast direct contact with as many consumers - period! In all of my car inquiries, I have never (and I mean never) had a complaint about Hyundai. Now, that’s saying something.” FOR MORE USEFUL CONSUMER INFORMATION … listen to my radio show, live on Facebook, YouTube and iHeartRadio (app), weekdays noon to 3pm (EST).
Peter, Thank You for the A2A. It may be a mute function built into the Hyundai radio that overrides Siri, but this should be replaced by the Hyundai voice. If this is not happening then mute the radio program or CD that you’re listening to and turn up the volume To the Bluetooth connection and increase the volume to the Bluetooth source. This should solve this Siri problem or mount Siri on a car mount on the vent or the dash and turn the volume up on speaker and listen to Siri through the speaker phone function of the phone.
“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. I love my 2014 Hyundai Sonata: 4 door, fully loaded, navigation system, satellite radio, heated seats, moonroof, paddle shifters, etc etc. Your question ranks right up there as one of the DUMBEST ones I have seen on this site. My self esteem is fully intact, thank you very much, and I am the person who just blew your doors off when I passed you on the highway.
