The Genesis G80 Sport is mated with a twin-turbo 3.3-litre V6 engine producing 272 kW (365 hp), features sportier bumpers, quad-exhaust tips, staggered nineteen-inch wheels, and a mesh grille. The vehicle was unveiled at the 2016 Busan Motor Show, followed by the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show and the 2017 North American International Auto Show.US models went on sale as 2018 model year vehicles. The Genesis G80 was launched to the Russian market in 2017 with a 2.0-litre Theta turbocharged engine that produced 180 kW (240 hp), eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive.
